So we got 12 inches of snow this weekend! And it was wet, heavy snow! Dustin and I spent an hour digging out our driveway and sidewalks but were able to get it all clean! Lots of the neighbor kids were out while we were doing this and Kyler was taking a nap, so Grace went across the street and played with the kids. It was really nice not having to watch her while we were trying to scoop. She had such a blast playing for an hour with those kids!
The next day we went out and built a little snowman. The wet, heavy snow turned very powdery the next day so we couldn't do as much as we wanted. But at least this snow that was sitting in the sun worked for a little one!
And yesterday and today Grace has wanted to go outside to play. With Dustin at work, it's very hard for me to take her and Kyler out, especially since Kyler really hates the snow. So I just bundled her up and let her play in the backyard by herself. She has loved it! She runs around with Mack and loves going down the slide. I was a little nervous about her climbing the rocks up the slide with boots on, but she does a great job! And she uses the slide more now than she ever has in the summer!
