Random

I have been doing a TERRIBLE job at keeping up this blog.  I am wanting to try to do better from here on so here are a few randoms that portray some of our happenings.

Melting my heart

Lately sweet little Kyler has just been melting my heart like no one else ever has.  He has always been my super sweet little cuddle bug and a huge Mama's boy.

I'm not sure what it is lately but his sweetness is just overwhelming lately!  Kyler has a super tender heart and just a stern word or scolding puffs out his lip, slumps his shoulders, and hangs his head down in shame.  It takes quite a bit to get him out of this stance once he feels shamed.  He is so incredibly sweet!

And then a couple days ago Kyler was carrying around a fake rose/stuffed animal type rose that we have in the pet net.  He walked up to me and got this super sweet, kind of shy looking smile on his face and held the rose out to me.  He then proceeded to ask if I would marry him. :)  How could I not say yes????  It was seriously one of the sweetest and cutest things I have ever seen.

He did it again to me this morning and I of course agreed.  Then Grace asked Kyler if he would marry her.

Grace:  Kyler, will you marry me?
Kyler:  No, I can't marry you.
Grace:  Why not?
Kyler:  I already marry mommy.

This of course upset Grace but we got it worked out.

It's just these sweet little moments that I know will fade from my memory but am so glad I am able to record things like these to keep with me forever!

First day of Kindergarten!

I'm playing catch up like always!

Grace began kindergarten at Malcolm on Wednesday, August 14, 2013!  It's crazy that my little, itty, bitty, tiny baby girl is in kindergarten!

Dustin took the day off so he could be there on her first day.  I think Grace appreciated that.

They are looking so old!

Grace was excited to go and she did great!  No tears were shed!

Grace has continued to do well in kindergarten.  We've had a few issues but have been able to work through them.  She still cries occasionally when something overwhelms her but she is getting better and has made some friends which always helps.

I cannot believe how much she has learned in just a few short weeks.  It's truly amazing.  I cannot wait to see how much she knows by the time she is done with kindergarten!
