Easter 2012

This is the first year I let Grace use actual dye to dye Easter eggs. In the past I have always had her just use a crayon to draw on them. Since she is almost 4, I figured it was time!
She did pretty good. Plus, she had a great time!

Easter morning before church all dressed up....here are the boys:

And the girls!

We waited until after church to let the kids have their Easter baskets. They were too much fun to dig into to wait for the picture.
And an Easter egg hunt at Gpa/Gma Brunssen's with the cousins!

Ky even got a few eggs himself!
What a beautiful Easter Sunday! What a great day to celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ!

Teeth and Hydrants

Kyler is getting three of his molars all at the same time! Poor boy! He's been in a lot of pain lately, but mostly just when he's tired is when it's noticeable. He wouldn't hold still, but here is the one that started first. Doesn't look fun, buddy!
(I don't know why the pic is sideways. It was right when I uploaded it.)

And Thursday night a guy from the city came to open the fire hydrant just up our cul-de-sac. Apparently some people were getting foamy water so he was doing this to get the air bubbles out. He ran it for nearly an hour. I can only imagine how much water that was.

Grace and the neighbor kids just couldn't resist playing in it. The only problem was that it was only about 65 degrees out and the water was FREEZING! They said once your feet went numb it wasn't too bad....:)

Shortly after this picture, Grace was sent inside for kicking water on me and my camera. She was pretty angry. But, all good things must come to an end!
